Healthy Homemade Ranch Dip

Use your homemade dip to make other great recipes like Dr. Iverson’s Creamy Chicken Pate!

This is a fun sauce to use as a chip or vegetable dip. I love the spicy punch it packs! Wow! Nummy! You can keep it spicy or just remove the jalapeño and make it a ranch dip. For a creamier version add a couple tablespoons of yogurt as a portion of the mayo– but only if you are not dairy sensitive.

Zesty Herb Ranch Dip

For a balanced meal, add a: Vegetable, Starch and a Protein
 
This is a fun sauce to use as a chip or vegetable dip. I love the spicy punch it packs- wow nummy! You can keep it spicy or just remove the jalapeño and make it a ranch dip. For a creamier version add a couple tablespoons of yogurt as a portion of the mayo- but only if you are not dairy sensitive.
Ingredients
  • ½ cup olive oil mayonnaise (see recipe) (or 5 Tbs olive oil mayo and 3 Tbs plain yogurt)
  • 2 Tbs jalapeño chopped
  • 2 Tbs green pepper chopped
  • 2 Tbs cilantro chopped
  • 2 Tbs onion chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • ¼ tsp dill weed dried or 1 tsp
  • fresh cut dill
  • sprinkle fresh ground pepper
Instructions
  1. Blend together in blender and serve chilled.
